My Wish List

Recently I have had the biggest urge to make purchases.  Now I'm not talking about purchases like dresses and shoes.  I ALWAYS have the urge for these things.  I'm talking stuff for my house, stuff for the summer, and a bunch of other random things.  Unfortunately, I don't have a birthday coming up anytime soon so it looks like I'll be waiting for my fairy godmother to drop these things in my lap.

#1 Imagine Print Set

I found this on Suzanna Anna's Etsy Store last summer and fell in LOOOOOVE!  I move into a new house in August and I think this would be perfect in the hallway.

#2 Tumblers

I found this one here and love the chevron print.  But really these days, any tumbler will make my heart flutter.  BONUS ladies: you tend to drink more liquid when you have a straw.  This is sure to help you reach your daily goal of water intake.

#3 Cup Case

I was first introduced to these handy dandy organizers by one of my favorite blog ladies Pink Lou Lou!  Since then I feel like they've been popping up everywhere!  You can use Cup Case to pack everything from your bras and swimsuit tops to your jewelry and hair accessories.

#4 Dawson's Creek Complete Series DVD

I don't really feel like this need explanation.  Pacey Witter, I am still waiting for you.

#5 A new cooler

I would love if it was one of these precious Marley Lilly coolers!

Soooo I will continue to sit with my fingers crossed until some sweet soul drops these off on my door step.

started playing soccer today!

I feel like my nephew is growing up so fast and my heart breaks that I don't get to see him very often.  He is seriously the neatest and funniest  kid I've ever met!

10 Years Ago....

10 years ago I graduated from Permian High School at Ratliff Stadium 

(yes the stadium from Friday Night Lights).  

I still remember standing on the football field with some of my best friends, singing our Alma Mater, and tossing our caps in the air, tears collecting in my eyes.  Don't get me wrong, no one was more excited than me to be done with high school and leave Odessa but I had some of the best friends a girl could ask for.  How could I leave them? 

I will say, after all of these years my relationships with my high school friends have definitely changed.  Some have gotten closer and stronger and some have simply drifted apart.  I have watched most of them find their soul mates, get married, have kiddos, and a live the life we all dream of and they have put up with watched me run like crazy all over the country until I finally decided on Dallas.  I love these girls so much and I am so thankful we all got to celebrate at our reunion!

Love these 2.  Please ignore the fact that my purse is like that.  I swear I don't carry it next to my crotch on a regular basis.  On another note, my fabulous shorts are from this fabulous boutique that my friend Aleashae owns.  So proud of you Dotty!

There were a couple of girls that I didn't get to see and you ladies were definitely missed!  Don't worry, I made sure to have an extra drink for each of you!

To the class of 2012:  You all looked so great and I was so happy to see each of you!  Can we have 15 year?

Friday's Letters

At some point soon I am going to do a post about my 10 year High School Reunion but I saw Friday's Letters on several of the blogs I read and thought I'd try it out.

Dear Body:  You. Are. Not. Getting. Sick.  Period, end of story.  We have WAY too much to do to be sitting at the doctor.

Dear Odessa Friends:  I had a blast last weekend at the reunion!  But my body might be too old to handle going that hard 2 days in a row.

Dear Apple Store/ATT: Thank you for replacing my jank iPhone!  Now people that I call can actually hear me!

Dear Progressive:  I'm sorry that your client (AKA the girl that rear-ended me 3 weeks ago) refuses to call you back.  You still have to pay for my car to get fixed so quit yanking my chain and do your job.

Dear Upcoming Weekend:  You better be including a pool, a mimosa (or 3), and a lot of rest.

Lola, Summertime, and an AWESOME giveaway!

Let's get this awful topic out of the way first.  My new beautiful baby Lola was hit yesterday!  I was on my way to dress rehearsal and pulled up to an intersection that involved train tracks.  Now if you know anything about me, you know that I am PETRIFIED of train tracks due to the face that my sweet GPhi sister was killed on them 2 years ago (another post for another day).  So I stop BEHIND the tracks like you are supposed to and next thing I know Lola has been rear ended!!!!!!!  I immediately started crying and imagining the worst, I mean my baby was PERFECT and now some dumbass ruined her!

As a matter of fact, the damage is not that awful and it definitely could have been worse!

The part that probably ticked me off the most was that the girl jumped out of the car and demanded my insurance card!  Umm excuse me, YOU hit ME!  The real question is do YOU have insurance?

Anyways.....on to much better topics.

I have been getting in some great Summertime fun.  Lots of pool time, a Rangers game with my best guy friend from college, and a few of summer beverages ;)!

I absolutely ADORE summer and I am worried that this one is going to go by way to fast.
