Friday Fives

Hallelujah!  It's Friday!  Although this week seem to go by super fast it was a long one at the same time.  Does that make sense?  Alright here are 5 things I am loving this Friday!

2. This Mascara

I bought this on a whim last weekend and I honestly LOVE it!  I hate the brush but the formula is SOOOO good.  I get tons of volume!  Just try it, you'll thank me later.

3. This tequila

I have been on a margarita and paloma kick lately and I am really loving Blue Nectar.  They are a smaller company so it may be hard to find but I promise it's worth digging around!

4. This Dress

I have got to add more work appropriate dresses to my wardrobe and this little floral number may just be what I need.

Weekending: Aaaaand I'm Back

Happy Monday yall!  Wow I feel like it's been awhile since I blogged on a Monday but here I am.  This week is sure to be a crazy one between meeting with 2 different suppliers and setting up 2 dinner events for some very important people.

My weekend started on Thursday when I went to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of one of my favorite places in Dallas.  The Standard Pour is hands down one of my favorite bars in this city.  I'm pretty sure they made the Moscow Mule so popular in Dallas because according to their facebook, they've made 116,986 mules in the 3 years they've been open.  Their anniversary party was complete with burlesque dancers, firebreathers and an awesome cake.  I stole borrowed a few photos from their site.

Friday night was very low key and I grabbed drinks and some dinner with a girlfriend.  Saturday I got a great workout in at one of my favorite places and then went to check out the Dallas Farmer's Market.  I bought a TON of stuff and can't wait to cook with it all this week!  I will definitely be checking that place out a lot this summer!  I love that everything I bought came from local farms.

Sunday started off with a fabulous little birthday brunch to celebrate my friend Katy!

We may have had one too many margaritas which resulted in an early night Sunday night!

Goal Digger

I know it's the 7th of April and I still haven't posted any April Goals.  I swear ONE DAY I will get them posted on time!  Let's see how March turned out...

March Goals
1. Workout 5-6 times a week
For the most part this happened.  I had a couple of days that I was really sick so I'm going to give myself a 1/2 pass on this.

2. Procrastinate less
Another 1/2 pass.  Some things I've gotten better about taking care of right away and some things I've continued to put off.

3. Try 4 new workouts 
Full on fail.  I think I only made it to 1 new studio and that's it.

4. Stay on top of my workload
PASS for sure!  I have worked really hard to knock out as much of my bi-monthly goals in March.  I'm about 70% done and have until the end of April.  

5. Get decorations hung on my walls
Ummm fail.

April Goals
1. Workout 5-6 times a week
Ok for reals, summer is practically here and I HAVE to stick to this no matter what.  I have 2 barre classes and 2 cardio classes schedule this week so now I just need one more.

2. Cook more
Soooooo I've been REALLY bad about not cooking lately and just eating on the go.  With my crazy schedule it's been hard to tear myself away from fun stuff on the weekends to grocery shop and meal prep but again, summer is practically here so these love handles need to go away!

3. Blog at least 3-4 times a week
I promise I miss yall!  Again with my crazy schedule sometimes the last thing I want to do at night is try to write an epic blog post.  But this is my creative outlet so I have to take some time for it.

4. Take a dance class
Period. I can't believe I haven't done that since I moved back to Dallas in November.
