Weekending: NKOTB and Wish Night

Well it's the start of another extremely busy week!  Work meetings, trying to hustle and meet new buyers, happy hours and going away parties are all on the agenda Monday-Thursday!  Let's recap the weekend shall we?  Linking up with the lovely Biana today!

My weekend started Thursday night when I grabbed 2 of my best girls and headed to the New Kids on the Block concert!  We had a great time and I'm pretty sure I didn't stop singing or dancing!

Nelly was the first opener and I seriously felt like I was back in high school driving my first car.  We used to blast the Country Grammar cd!

TLC was the next group.  It was REALLY awkward watching them because T-Boz sang the majority of the time and Chili danced (kinda half-ass dancing) with the dancers.  It was fun to hear all of their old stuff but just a little weird watching the 2 of them.

FINALLY it was time for the main event and I've seriously never heard a crowd SO loud!  My ears were ringing!

I'll let the next few pictures speak for themselves.

They did all of the old dances and I'm pretty sure the entire audience knew every word to ever song.  So much fun!

My mom got in town Friday and we picked up a few new pretties for the apartment.  I STILL can't find throw pillows for my bed that I like.  I'm super picky and everything I buy just doesn't work the way I want it to.  Blah!

Saturday I gave my mom her Mother's Day present and took her to Blushington to get our makeup done.  Yall this place was gorgeous and our makeup looked beautiful.  Unfortunately I forgot to get any good pictures of makeup but just trust me, they did a great job!

After the makeover, we headed to Wish Night for Make a Wish North Texas.  My mom is a Wish Manager and took me to the event as her date.  It was a beautiful night and so amazing to meet some of the Wish Kids that Make a Wish has helped throughout the years.

I will say that night was the HARDEST night of Whole30 that I've had.  When we sat down at our places, they had dessert already out.  It was freaking chocolate mousse which is basically my favorite dessert in the whole world.  I literally had to sit there and stare at it for 2 hours and not eat it.  I just had to keep reminding myself that it wouldn't be my last chance to have dessert and to just stick to my plan.

Sunday was spent in the kitchen and the laundry room.  So domesticated I am :)

How was the weekend for yall?
