PF Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps Copycat Recipe

Ever since I posted about this recipe on Monday, I've had emails everyday asking for details.  Since I usually take tweak most recipes, I thought I'd go ahead and add the details here.  Bonus-these are man-approved!

What you'll need:
For the meat:
1 Tbs olive oil
1 pound ground chicken (I used ground turkey because they didn't have ground chicken at the store)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 can water chestnuts (chopped)
1 1/2 cups white onion (chopped)
2 green onions (chopped)
1 head butter lettuce

Sauce:
1/2 - 1 cup hoisin sauce
4 Tbs soy sauce
2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
2 tsp Sriracha sauce
salt & pepper to taste

What to do:
Combine sauce ingredients in a separate bowl and set aside.

Heat olive oil in pan over medium high heat and add ground chicken (or turkey) cooking until browned.  When cooked, stir in garlic, white onions, & about 1/2 of the sauce mixture and make sure all of the meat is evenly coated.  Stir in green onions and water chestnuts and cook another 2 minutes.  Add salt & pepper to taste.

I added the rest of the sauce mixture last and really let the meat and onion mixture soak up the flavor.  If you're not sauce crazy like I am, then 1/2 the recipe and you're good to go!

Spoon small amounts onto butter lettuce leaves like a small taco or wrap. Enjoy!

If I don't feel like getting messy when I eat, I'll shred the lettuce and toss it with the meat to serve.  Either way, your taste buds will LOVE this!

The best part about this meal?  It is so easy and fast to throw together.  The hardest part is chopping the veggies.  Perfect for when you have dinner guests or are entertaining.
