How is it already Monday already yall? I swear my weekends get shorter and shorter! Linking up with the fabulous Biana today!
I started my Friday off with a little Pure Barre and holy moly my thighs were burning! After class I packed my bags and headed back home to Odessa for my Aunt Vickie's wedding. As much as I love going home I absolutely hate the drive (maybe because I did it 5 times when I was looking for a job) and this one was no better. My road rage was out in full force! After I got home that night I had dinner with my dad and went to see some friends for a bit.
Saturday mom and I hit the mall and I hit the jackpot at Express! I've been on the lookout for a good black blazer that doesn't make me look like a linebacker and I think I found it! I love that I can put this on and instantly feel more pulled together.

I also bought 2 Portofino shirts (Gina you may have created a monster) and I'm obsessed with the colors! I also think I need at least 1 pair of black and white slacks thanks to these pics!
After all of the shopping it was wedding time! The wedding was very casual and laid back which made it so fun and easy to catch up with everyone that I wanted to see. My Aunt Vickie looked beautiful and I am so happy for she and her new hubby!
The girl in the pic above is my cousin's girlfriend. I swear if he doesn't put a ring on it soon we may all kill him because Jess is the best!
Sunday we did Christmas with my Dad's side of the family since some of the cousins can't be there for the real day. We always play Dirty Santa and this year I ended up with a $50 Mastercard giftcard! More shopping to be done with that! I meant to get pictures but I was too caught up in Bloody Marys and breakfast casseroles.
This week is sure to be a crazy one but I am really going to try to make this space of mine a priority again. I miss posting every day but lately when I've gotten home from work I haven't wanted to do anything at all. Hopefully that motivation will kick in again soon!

ReplyDeletehaha I have been strong and haven't bought a portofino yet, but i haven't tried one on or seen it in real life, so that's why. before i started reading Gina's blog I hadn't shopped at express in years! she totally created a monster lol.
