A Weekend Full of Surprises

I'm here! I'm here!  Better late than never right?  This post will be on the short side but I'm linking up with the fabulous B to talk about my weekend.

Friday night I had dinner with my dad and went home to get some much needed sleep.  #imold

Saturday night I loaded up my overnight bag and headed to Ft Worth for a fabulous surprise.  My good friend Ashley turns 30 this month and a couple of her friends planned to surprise her with a big dinner.  They took her to Ft Worth and told her they were just doing a spa weekend and going to a nice dinner.  When she walked into the restaurant we were all standing in a room and her face was priceless.

We had several drinks and some food and then headed out to a dueling piano bar for some entertainment.
 We somehow lucked out and got tables right up at the front so the musicians played every single thing we requested....even Gangsta's Paradise (yes that was TOTALLY mine)!

Sunday was a lot of laundry and a lot of crying over that Cowboys game (it WAS a freaking catch dangit).

I have probably the busiest week ahead of me between work, work events, and other fun stuff so I may be a little MIA (what else is new since I started this job)!
