December goals:
1. Continue decorating the apartment
Still a work in progress. I ordered my gold polka dots for my living room and as soon as those are up I will post pictures!
2. Eat as clean as possible during the week
Ugh...epic fail. Oh well I'm picking this back up today.
3. Work out at least 5 days out of the week
Another epic fail. Damn you holidays!
4. Make 1 new recipe a week
Ok seriously.....another fail. Although I am making a couple of recipes this week so I'm making up for this one.
5. Do something Christmasy in Dallas
I didn't get to do anything Christmasy before the holidays but New Years Day a friend and I drove around Highland Park and looked at Christmas lights.
Ok so December goals were kind of a bust. Onto January goals!
1. Work out at least 5 days a week
I'm determined that this summer will be the one I feel confident in a bikini so I started my morning off at Beyond 500 and am hoping to work that in 2-3 days a week with Pure Barre on the other days.
2. Eat as clean as possible 5 days a week
This is so hard since I am expected to eat lunch in my accounts and they have some of the best food. However, I am determined to stick to salads and grilled chicken for the month of January.
3. Start reading again
I haven't picked up a book since I moved into my apartment and that has got to change.
4. Set up my cash envelope budget
I would really like to start my cash system again because it really did hold me accountable.
5. Finish projects in my apartment
I have a to-do list of things that I need to do for the apartment that I could seriously knock out in a weekend. I HAVE to make myself set aside the time to get it done!
Later this week I am going to share my list of things I want to accomplish in 2015. It was no secret around these parts that 2014 was not an amazing year for me. I had a very emotional breakup, made a huge life decision and moved back to Texas, moved into my new place, and started my a new job. Needless to say I am more than ready to make 2015 MY year (as cliche as that sounds). I know I am capable of so many great things but I have to keep myself motivated and not get discouraged by any setbacks minor or major. I hope 2015 has started off amazing for yall and I can't wait to share my year with my fabulous blog friends!

I hear ya on the not eating clean and working out as much over the holidays... but it was worth every sip and bite! Here's to getting back on track!

ReplyDeleteDon't be down on yourself for your December goals! It's a crazy time of year. Just pick up and keep on moving in January. I think your goals are realistic and it's great that you hold yourself accountable here. And that reminds me, I need to set a goal about reading books!
