Halloween Memories: Blogtober14

It's no secret around these parts that I love to dress up.  Give me a theme party any day of the week and I will give you a happy girl!  Halloween is by far one of my favorite holidays.  Any excuse to dress up and pig out on candy, right?

Today I'm linking up with Helene and Taylor to share one of my favorite Halloween memories.

A few years ago (maybe 2011?) a big group of us had plans to hit Uptown Dallas for Halloween.  The only problem?  I was BROKE!  There was no way I could have gotten a great costume for very little money.  That is, until I got creative!  I stalked Pinterest for days trying to come up with something cute that was also already in my closet.  A hippie? No. Wear all black and be a cat? Done it. Basically, I was coming up with nothing until I found this picture:

I mean, who doesn't have a blue button down and a red bandana in their closet?  Done and done!

I give you my favorite Halloween costume I've ever had:

Seriously this was one of the easiest and most comfortable costumes I've ever worn. The best part, I carried around jello shots in my toolbox all night.  Easiest way I've ever made friends at a bar!

What are you going to be for Halloween this year?

Also linking up with the girl who has the most perfect house!  Seriously Go look at Annie's Halloween decorations!

  1. :O That is an awesome idea for a costume! I love it so much! Comfortable, little bit vintage, original and the whole toolbox/ carrying shots combo is brilliant :)
