I love this quote because it reminds me to not settle for anything less than I deserve. And who doesn't like high heels? I also like to pretend that it says "hair" because again, who doesn't love to keep their hair high #thehigherthehairtheclosertoheaven
This inspired the 2nd half of my blog name. I love this little reminder to always see the best in the world. There are going to be days or times in my life that aren't so great but this quote always reminds me to see the "glitter" or the good in everything.
Ever since high school I have kept a quote book. I have written down poems, quotes, song lyrics, etc every time I've found words that touch me or have some kind of special meaning. Some of them are sad but most of them are uplifting. Whenever I need a little extra inspiration, I flip through my book and can usually find something that helps point me in the right direction.
Do yall have favorite quotes?

I love both of these!! It's amazing how reading quotes can literally turn your day right around - it gives you that extra boost you need to go and conquer the day!!
ReplyDeleteSo in love with the Roald Dahl quote, he was one of my favorite authors growing up and I think the message is so inspirational. The world is so amazing and so often we get caught up in day to day routine we forget to see the magic!

I've never thought about keeping a quote book, but I LOVE that idea. And I love the glitter quote you posted. I think no matter what you're going through in life, you should always try to find the glittery side of things.
