Grapefruit Love

Last week my cube mate at work was having grapefruit for breakfast and it smelled delicious.  All of the sudden I had this memory of going to The Body Shop for the very first time and purchasing a travel size bottle of Grapefruit shower gel.  We're talking 7th grade awkwardness thinking I was big stuff buying this scented gel.  I went home and used it and just new the next day at school people would comment about how great I smelled.  The boys were really gonna come running now! Except that they didn't, and I was still awkward.

I digress.

Anyways, thanks to my colleague's food choice, I decided to relive my 7th grade glory and hop on The Body Shop site and grab some of that wonderful citrus fragrance.

This Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel is perfect for summertime!  It gets super sudsy (is that a word?) and has a very sweet and sharp citrus smell without being overpowering.  This may be in my head but I really do feel like the scent helped wake me up a bit!  My whole shower still smells like grapefruit.

I follow up my citrus shower with the Pink Grapefruit Body Butter.  This butter is super soft and has the same great smell as the shower gel.  My only complaint is that there is a residue and if I'm not careful, it rubs off on my clothes.
