May Goals

Happy Monday y'all!  I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!  Michigan and I drove to Chicago to for his nephew's first communion.  I got to meet parts of his family for the first time and they are a hoot!  Such an amazing family!  We also go to visit his best friends who just had a baby girl.  Miss Kinley is the cutest and sweetest little peanut.

Now that May is in full swing it is time for May Goals!  First let's see how I held up with April Goals.

April Goals
1. Run my first 5K
DONE!  The #happiest5k was SO much fun!

2. Find the hottest birthday outfit for my 30th birthday
DONE! I actually found 2 outfits and thank the Lord I did because I had no idea about my surprise party!

3. Take additional steps towards my fitness certification goals
I spent time talking to a health coach and a couple of other people.  This will be a slow process but I am so excited.

4. Take a new class at the gym
UGH I still haven't accomplished this.  I've been spending so much time at the barre studio working on becoming a teacher that I lost focus on this goal.

5. Call at least 2 friends a week to catch up
I think I did this.  I've at least talked to a couple of people more often than normal this month.

Alrighty, now for May Goals:

May Goals
1. Take 1 new workout class
This is staying up until I actually accomplish it!

2. Become a barre instructor
I should be finished with all of my training next week!  I am teaching a friends and family class Wednesday so keep your fingers crossed that it goes great!

3. Figure out a perfect birthday gift for Michigan
The man is THE hardest person to shop for.  Any suggestions are welcome!  He likes beer, grilling, outdoors, and the Michigan State Spartans.

4. Plan more Happy Hours with my girls
I need to quit being so stressed out about time and remember to enjoy my life during the week.  Plus with the warmer temps (please stay) this should be NO problem :)

5. Stick to the envelop budget
UGH…it's SUCH a good way to budget money but so hard to keep up with.

Do you have goals for May?

  1. I had no idea you were becoming a barre instructor!! You have to tell me more about the process!!! As for gifts for your man - does he have a corn hole set or would he want one because you could always do the set with his favorite team...or if you want to do like a Man Crate for him check out ManCrates.com and then I can always email you more suggestions if you want!!
