There were 6 of us that went together but unfortunately, we could only get tickets in pairs so we had to split up. I don't think Ashley and I stopped dancing and singing. I was covered in sweat by the time it was over but it was seriously so fun! Gah I miss taking dance class so this was the closest thing I've had in awhile!
He started the show with Moonshine which, even though it's not one of his singles, it is one of my favorite songs on his album. I seriously don't think the man ever stopped moving the whole time. His guitar, base and horn players, and his backup singers were front and center with him dancing the whole show. I loved that he incorporates his band so much and they aren't just used as backup. I also didn't realize that Bruno Mars plays the guitar REALLY well. Being the daughter of one of the best guitar players (IMHO) in the state of Texas, I always appreciate a good guitar riff.
The cutest people were sitting in front of us. This super hot and stylish mom had brought her young daughter and it was the little girl's first concert. I'm pretty sure she recorded the whole show on her iPhone. Shout out to that cool mom!
So another concert for the books! I highly suggest that if you have a chance to check out his concert, you take it!
I can only imagine how great he was!!! He's such a performer (from what I've seen on tv) and probably leaves it all out there!! Nothing better than being tired because the night before was so epic! xo
