Where I'm From Swap & a Special Birthday Girl!

A few weeks ago, Kallie posted about doing a link-up called Where I'm From.  The idea was I'd get a partner and then send her a package that not only contained things that represented your home state.  After exchanging a few emails with my partner I sent what any loyal West Texas girl would send.

There is no better representation not only of my state but of my hometown!  

I got her package in the mail yesterday and I am so excited.

My sweet partner is from Iowa but now lives in Kansas City.  The picture is of the Iowa Hawkeyes football team and her brother is actually #83.  She also sent Oklahoma Joe's BBQ sauce becuase she knew I loved to cook and how adorable is that Kansas City Starbucks mug?  I love all of my stuff and had such a great time "meeting" my partner.

You've read about Brookie Snookie here, here, and here.  I have so many wonderful memories with this girl and I am so thankful that God brought her into my life.
