#happiest5K

Last weekend I finally got to check off something on the ol 30 Before 30 List.  I rounded up a couple girlfriends, their hubbies and Mr. Michigan for The Color Run!  I had never done a 5K before and was super nervous being that I'm NOT a runner.  All 3 girls I was running with have completed 1/2 marathons and I assumed the boys would probably leave me in the dust!

Well I am proud to say that I not only ran the whole 5K but I kept pace with the ladies!  Small potatoes for all of you marathoners out there but a big accomplishment for this gal!

The only thing I was disappointed in was how little color actually got on me!  I wanted my shirt to be covered and was so disappointed when I just had little streaks of color.

Oh well, it was still tons of fun!

    Our color run is next weekend, can't wait! I can't believe you aren't covered in it, I was from head to toe last year. BUT, it was SO hard to get off my skin. I'm not looking forward to that scrub off again haha.
