Monday Again...

Hey yall!  I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed those cooler temps that came around.  Linking up with the lovely Biana!

Friday night I took it easy and ended up watching the movie Hook!  I haven't seen this movie in years but it will always have a special place in my heart.  Peter Pan is one of my all time favorite stories and this movie is just so visually beautiful.  This is my favorite part of the movie and yes I cried like I always do when it came up!

Saturday I taught an early barre class that was full of clients who were new to me.  These ladies have been coming to the studio for a few months but never to my class.  I always get nervous about teaching people like that because they tend to be a lot harder to please.  I think I managed to give them a fun but challenging class and they were all smiles when they left.

I spent the rest of the day packing and rewatched almost every episode of this show

Is anyone else excited about Season 2? Somehow I only really got 2 big rubbermaid tubs filled with my stuff.  Better step that whole packing thing into high gear since my moving truck comes this Friday.

Sunday I watched a little football and got some food ready for the week.  Since pomegranates are in season again (did anyone else think those things were a summer fruit?) I got to make one of my all time favorite recipes that I will share this week.

What did yall do this weekend?

  1. You teach barre? How awesome is that?! I'm DYING to go to a class, I have no doubt that I'd become a loyal client... but no one in my small town is certified :(
Ooooh, I want to watch Southern Charm! Can't believe I haven't heard of it before!

  4. OK...as someone who lives in Charleston, I hope you know that our city is not as bad as those people make it look! OMG! LOL...it's definitely entertaining, but does not put this lovely city in a good light at all. I love that you teach barre...it is my favorite type of class to take. I used to teach group fitness dance and sculpt classes and I'd love to get trained in teaching barre - one day when I don't have an infant, a 4yo and an 8yo! LOL...I'll have to give it a couple years to work into my schedule. ;-)

  5. I actually can't believe they are bringing the show back for a second season - I hope they get rid of some of the people lol!! I'm sure you gave those girls a great workout - I personally love having new teachers - I find them to be the most challenging and I'm so sore after those classes lol!

  8. yeah!!!!! I'm glad your class went well! It is seriously the best feeling when everyone walks out all smiles right?

I just bought a whole bunch of those plastic moving bins. I'm getting anxiety and recruited my mom to help me come and pack up my place eek!!!!!

  9. I have caught snippets of the show Southern Charm when I was watching the beginning or end of something else on Bravo. It seems like it would be VERY easy to get sucked into and enjoy it as a guilty pleasure show! I so admire that you teach barre class!! I have to imagine it's intimidating to please everyone!
