And just like that, it's my last weekend in Michigan. In the past month I have talked to several of my friends and family and I have told them the same thing. I will never regret moving to Michigan. I followed my heart and jumped into something with both feet. I now know what I am willing to put up with in a relationship and what I'm not. I never really knew that before. I always stayed in bad relationships because I was too scared to be alone and not because I really wanted to be with that person. I know that I have to make sure someone wants the same things out of life that I do before I get serious about them. I moved up to Michigan to be with an amazing man and although he is still that amazing man, he isn't the kind of amazing that I want or need. He has taught me a ton about myself and for that I will always be thankful.
Needless to say I spent the weekend packing packing packing. After giving away 3 bags of clothes, 9 pairs of shoes and 1 bag of books I think the rest will make it to Texas. I rented a moving truck through a company that will drive your stuff to it's destination for you. Cheers to NOT having to drive the U-Haul myself! Fingers, toes and eyeballs crossed that my stuff ends up in Texas on time and in 1 piece.

This week will be spent finishing up my work duties-my last day is Tuesday, teaching my last barre class and saying goodbye to the friends I've made out here. My bestie from college flies in Friday and is making the drive back to Texas with me. Stay tuned for a hilarious play by play of that roadtrip. This girl has been my partner in crime and we always manage to get into trouble when we're together! We are going to stop in Missouri to meet one of our sorority sisters' little baby and I am so excited. After that I will put my stuff in storage in Dallas and then head home to Odessa for some much needed time with the family and my oldest friends. I have decided not to officially move to Dallas until I have a job because who really wants to just live off of their savings?! I do have a job interview in a few days so send some good vibes my way!
I thought I'd end this post by sharing a few oldies but goodies I found while packing this weekend. Oh the things we manage to hold on to!
Every year our church does a big senior luncheon and these were handed out to everyone who came. See if you can find me!
This was a college party before Sophomore year (I think). The blonde girl is my sorority "twin" and the girl in the middle is our "Big Sis"!
This is a pic of my "Little Sis" who is probably the most adorable human being on the face of the earth! And yes I'm wearing a shirt that said "Dance. If it were easy it would be called football." - So cool!
I hope yall had a fabulous weekend! You should link up with my girl Biana and tell me about it!
