Smile It's Friday

What a quick week this has been.  I think I speak for everyone when I say that 3 day weekends should definitely be the norm!

I was a little skeptical about this Earth Bowl Salad but these flavors together are awesome!  I accidentally left out the cheese and I used pecans instead of walnuts because that's all I had.  Still delicious.

Favorite Song

I heard this on a preview for the Lifetime movie about Brittany Murphy and immediately went searching for it.  I may have listened to it several times a day this week. Who remembers the original version from the Night at the Roxbury guys?

Favorite New Baby

One of my oldest friends Krista, was blessed with her 2nd beautiful little girl Wednesday afternoon.  I can't wait to be home in a few weeks to grab some Baby Allie snuggles!

Favorite Weekend Plans

I'm going to see Journey in concert for the 3rd time!  This is my absolute favorite band and I always love their concerts.  Michigan bought us tickets a month ago and we both decided that we still want to go.  

I have gotten several questions about how where Michigan (the person) and I stand. While things have been a little awkward around our house we are both doing the best we can to spend time together before I leave.  Our situation is unique in that we didn't have a huge fight and chose to throw in the towel and there wasn't some big earth shattering thing that happened to cause a breakup.  We simply realize that it's not working and we respect each other too much to let it get to a negative place. 

This week has been an absolute emotional rollercoaster between telling my boss and you guys about my decision. I do feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders so thank you for giving me such a positive place to let it all out.  A big thank you all for your sweet emails and texts this week.  I am truly blessed with some great people in my life.
